Newegg - Tech Shopping Online App Reviews

Downloaded this app to see if I could order parts from my phone because I couldnt access my computer. Logged in, browsed for a bit and order what I needed. Had no issues and got payment confirmation immediately. Very fluid app and clean UI. Had no issues running on my 6S. Phenomenal app for a computer parts store

I have been a long time Newegg customer and have mentioned this server error message that I keep getting on the app. It prevents me from completing the order even though it accepts the various forms of payment I have. I am very frustrated that I go to the trouble of selecting an item, putting it in the cart, going through the whole payment and address process, and then finally this goofy error over and over and over and over and over again. What the heck is up with that?! Ive repeatedly had to go to my desktop at home to place the order. What a major inconvenience. Right now the app is useless.

downloaded this App thinking i could continue adding items to my cart from what i did in my home computer.. guess what its not SYNC to main website and my saved items are now showing.i have to start again browsing item that i need.

The first two things I have ordered from this website have been out of stock, but it was advertised that they were in stock. So I ordered them, send them my money, and then they email me telling me they have cancelled my order. Then my money takes about a week to get back to me. Very frustrating and deceiving. Not shopping here again.

i found what i needed quite easily and i cant complain.

Mobile app refused my password even after reset w/ the website. Used the same email and was able to create a NEW account - what the heck!??! Latest update messed the bed me thinks.

NewEgg as a retailer of geek and geekery related products is a 5/5. Amazon is king of all overall, but NewEgg knows what geeks want and gives what geeks need. Even when I do buy from Amazon instead I always use NewEggs product description page because it gives better and more of the pertinent info on the product that I want and need. If it works out okay that I dont need same day or next day shipping Ill use NewEgg just because I dont want to see them go out of business. The app? Disappointed that a company of geeks didnt make a better app. Super slow to load. The Amazon shopping app geeks need to head over to NewEgg and make their app. The geeks at NewEgg need to head over to Amazon and show them how to do a product description. Then they both need to allow us to make category folders for our wish lists. The the world would be at peace and my bank account would be smaller. Love you both!

Im enjoying the fact that even with throttled mobile data this app runs well no matter where I go or what I look at. Im used to apps hanging-up when the data is just too slow for the amount of data expected. This app is very simple, the way apps like this should be. Newegg FTW.

Freezes up a lot and takes FOREVER to load selected items. Wish list will delete random items in it when, deleting of another item. iPhone 6 Plus.

Ive ordered almost my entire PC build with this app and definitely will be buying the rest when I get the funds to do so. This app is great for quickly checking something, managing your cart/wish list and notifications. Thats not to say it doesnt have its fair share of bugs though. The bugs are minor, but still annoying. While on FaceTime or skype with someone, the screen is sometimes put out of line and you cant see part of the bottom row where you access the categories, your cart, wish list, etc. there was also a bug where compare was not functioning properly and the information was not showing up. However, this only happened one time and may have already been fixed. Thats really it for the cons. I will be using this app for a lot more than just my PC in the future such as microphones, boom arms, webcams, and other gaming peripherals. This is a great app overall and would definitely encourage anyone looking to build a PC in the future to use this app!

Ordered my whole build from the app and even write reviews too. Easy to use and even did an rma because of wrong Intel chip ordered ( my fault)

I cant say enough good about this company they have everything and anything. I have ordered from them customer service is great and I cant wait to get my product! You must check out this store I do not write many reviews but please check this out if you order online.

I love that the swipe left to go back functionality now allows previews. It just needs a bit of refinement. From the Home page when you navigate to a product page and then navigate to a 2nd product page, swipe left to go back incorrectly takes you back to the Home page as opposed to the 1st product page whereas the Back button correctly takes you back to the first product page. It would be great if this app allowed you to dismiss product images by swiping down. I know you can dismiss them with a single tap, however, swiping down to dismiss an image is the new iOS convention.

I am currently working on my computer and this app has been a real help with great deals and prices!

great app all around except for the fact that the cart doesnt sync with the cart I created on my laptop. Doesnt make sense too me and needs to be fixed.

I cant even check my orders Im using a iPhone 7 with iOS 10 and its unusable.

Nothing special, prefer the desktop version
