Back gesture needs refinement

I love that the swipe left to go back functionality now allows previews. It just needs a bit of refinement. From the Home page when you navigate to a product page and then navigate to a 2nd product page, swipe left to go back incorrectly takes you back to the Home page as opposed to the 1st product page whereas the Back button correctly takes you back to the first product page.

It would be great if this app allowed you to dismiss product images by swiping down. I know you can dismiss them with a single tap, however, swiping down to dismiss an image is the new iOS convention.
